A Parent Commitment to School Success

A very warm thank you to everyone who ventured out into the snow to join us at the Waldo Public Library to review the school plan for Hale Cook. We discussed our academic approach, the environment we hope to foster both during school hours and beyond, as well as what we were going to do to ensure its success as a public elementary school in our neighborhood. We will be continuing our discussion in this online forum and invite your feedback. Today, let's follow-up with a question that came up last night:

How do we ensure the continued level of commitment from parents to the success of Hale Cook Elementary for years to come?

One of our proposed solutions to this was to have parents sign an "agreement" at the beginning of each year , acknowledge the goals of the school and making a commitment to their child's education. What would this commitment look like? What would you be willing to commit to as a parent of elementary-aged and pre-K children? Post your reponse here.
