Thank you to everyone who participated in today's meeting with Dr. Covington and the KCMO School District about how they will be supporting Hale Cook Elementary. Per the request of several parents, here is some further reading on standards-based curriculum and how that will redefine public elementary education in Kansas City. There are five KCMO schools currently implementing this approach which has been successfully implemented in other districts across this country and worldwide. Of course, we are always looking for your feedback and thoughts as we continue to move forward.
